About National Coastal Wetland Conservation Grants

The National Coastal Wetlands Conservation Grant Program was established by Title III of P.L. 101-646, Coastal Wetlands Planning, Protection and Restoration Act of 1990. The Service provides matching grants to States for acquisition, conservation, or restoration of coastal wetlands. The Service supports projects that are consistent with the National Wetlands Priority Conservation Plan, benefit threatened and endangered species and migratory birds, promote partnerships, and support conservation and recovery programs.

In the Pacific Region of the USFWS, the following states receive grants through the National Coastal Wetlands Conservation Grant Program:
